The Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center
Through collaboration and unity, the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ Community Center strives to provide a diverse platform for our community to meet, learn, be challenged, and grow. It offers many support groups, community events, and other information about LGBTQ resources.
The LGBTQ Youth Space
For Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning as well as ally youth and young adults ages 13 to 25 who live in Santa Clara County. The LGBTQ Youth Space offers counseling services, social and leadership opportunities, community outreach and education, and a safe and welcoming drop-in center.
Bill Wilson Drop-in Center
The Bill Wilson Drop-in Center in downtown San Jose helps unhoused at-risk youth, ages 12 – 22, by providing necessities such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene items. The program also provides more comprehensive services, including counseling, living skills training, job readiness training, housing assistance, health education (including HIV prevention), and links to other services, such as access to legal services and health care.
Outlet
Outlet empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth ages 13-18 living in the Peninsula and South Bay through support services, leadership training, community education, and advocacy.
TransFamilies of Silicon Valley
TransFamilies of Silicon Valley is a welcoming community of families with transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive children of all ages up and down the San Francisco Peninsula and throughout the South Bay. Transgender, Gender-Variant, and Intersex Justice Project (TGI Justice Project)
Transgender Gender-Variant and Intersex Justice Project is a group of transgender, gender variant, and intersex people—inside and outside of prisons, jails, and detention centers—creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom.
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays San Jose (PFLAG San Jose)
PFLAG San Jose is the local chapter of the family and ally organization PLAG. PLAG comprises 400 chapters, and 200,000 members are committed to providing peer support, education, and advocacy.
Valley Homeless Healthcare Program – Gender Clinic
Valley Homeless Healthcare Program - Gender Clinic is a safe place for transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse people experiencing homelessness in Santa Clara County. The Gender Clinic respects all aspects of people and is dedicated to providing warm, compassionate care to everyone. You can be seen in the clinic if you are experiencing homelessness and identify as transgender/ gender non-binary/ gender-diverse.
Services include:
- Primary care
- Hormones and referrals, as needed and desired
- Trans-affirmative gynecological care as needed and desired
- Sexually transmitted infection and HIV testing and treatment
- PrEP and PEP (the medicines that prevent HIV)
- Mental health support and evaluation, as needed and desired
- Substance use support and treatment, as needed and desired
- Social support and housing services, as needed and desired

The Gender Health Center
The Gender Health Center is a safe place for transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse people of all ages for people and their families to receive information on and compassionate care for their gender experience.

The Trans Employment Program (TEP) at the SF LGBT Center is a unique, collaborative program designed to help create inclusive workplaces and jobs for trans people.

Trans Can Work (TCW) is an organization based in Los Angeles, California, and is committed to advancing workplace inclusion through innovative training strategies and workforce development.
TransVision
TransVision’s primary goal is to lower HIV infection rates among transwomen by increasing knowledge of HIV risk and behaviors. TransVision serves the entire LGBTQIA community. The center also improves access to trans-affirming treatment, PrEP, and primary care services.
